Knut Berg
Knut started in the dish pit and worked his way up the classic hotel ladder. Over more than 30 years he has run hotels from single properties above 500 rooms to portfolios of more than 30, including General Manager of Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania in Oslo, one of Norway’s largest, and Senior Vice President for Comfort Hotels across 32 hotels in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Lithuania.
He is currently COO of PURO Hotels, a European group with eight hotels operating and more in development, where he has lifted GOP through more efficient staffing and higher guest satisfaction at the same time. His focus is operations, profitability, pre-opening and owner advisory, across Europe and increasingly in Southeast Asia. Nexth operates independently and takes on selected assignments.

Lavrans Gjønnes
Lavrans has started and run restaurants for over 20 years, with experience from Dr. Holms Hotel, N.B. Sørensen, Hall Toll, Tango, Clarion and the Gastronomic Institute. He has initiated and developed several concepts of his own, and has published cookbooks, one of which was named Cookbook of the Year in 2012. His focus is restaurant operations, concept and F&B.
